The wood was not fit the style of the blade. so i changed it to fit the style of the blade and the concept art. I also added a spec map, change the lighting. any comments and/or suggestions? please, leave them below.
Sups bro! For starters, if you can ever show concept of the work/reference, that'll help your audience know where u got your idea from. That said, let's also look at minor presentation. The back look of the axe has not much interesting stuff to show so have more of a profile shot of the axe to showcase the depth. Even showing your wireframe will show people your clean geometry. I notice your own comment about the handle and that's very true. In terms of some reality physics, that handle looks like it'd snap when I land my first blow. Having some of the model be a bit more exaggerated would even make it more interesting. Keep at it. Show me your planning skills about it so I know where it stemmed from.
